Hi Nathan,

I hear you, but my thinking is what I see in this video – this application and use of Google glasses will not save me 1 hour in the grocery store. Here’s a crazy thought, take the kids shopping with you and let them help and learn how to do this type of task.

To ask the question differently:

If you were traveling Mon-Friday every week and only had Saturday and Sunday with your spouse and children, how much would you pay to make your 2 hour grocery trip into a 1 hour trip?

How much is that 1 hour playing catch, playing chess, reading with your family or cuddling up for a movie worth? $1? $5? $10? $100? $1000?

The problem with social meda marketing is the ‘fluff’ that surrounds it. When somebody likes your page, that’s ‘fluff’, not a tangible result. The problem in my view is people judge social engagement on its own merits instead of the return it offers on the investment of time and money required to do it. If your engagement activity does not lead to clear returns (candidates, applications- or in my case, traffic that leads to candidates and applications) then you are wasting your time. The second you lose touch of the tangible business goal attached to social media activity, you are no longer marketing.

Hi. I notice you then have a blog related to sleeping, and sleep products. It’s really a very interesting subject, and i also actually am inside the same niche. I’ve been currently talking about sleep number beds reviews, snore, restless leg syndrome, as well as other sleep related topics. It’s nice to see somebody else also covering simliar subjects!
